A WORKING HOME - TORONTO

This is a “working” home - super busy, small footprint, lots of activity and several inhabitants. FUNCTIONALITY is key.
A lot of editing was needed in the home with a fresh coat of paint. Everything was removed to open up the space and bring in a sense of calm. The owner reinstated just enough for her comfort level.

It all started with the dining room that doubles as the owners home office and sit down dinners for 6 or more. With lots of editing - furniture, files, books I redesigned and closed the pocket doors to another room and made a shelving unit to house all her necessary materials, it transformed into a multi-use room. Swapping out one chair and removing her office items stored on the shelf behind - she can transform this room in a simple minute.
