The Migrators

In the fall of 2018 I launched my first solo show - MIGRATION.

Infusing the sound of the earth from space, the scent of fresh earth to connect these sculptures to embody the genuine human essence. They invoke a timelessness and stillness that leaves the viewer or participant to reflect on the migration within and contemplate our journey within.

“Her work has the power to envelop us in its immense subtlety - evoking our inner silence and fragility. ”

In the spring of 2020, Migration was exhibited again at the Lyceum Gallery in Toronto.
The sound used from a tree I befriended. I recorded it singing through a device called, ‘The Music of the Plants’ infused the audience with a different experience.

I added a poetic story to entertain the mind and posed questions of each piece of wall sculptures to entice the viewer.

“ChaCha, your art show was my favourite show of the whole year.”
